Sigma Tau Gamma is looking for a unique breed of "Talented Taus" to join the Fraternity Staff. Applications are currently
being accepted for positions within the Fraternity’s Expansion and Chapter Development Departments.
Applicants for the Expansion Department should be recent or upcoming graduates who are finishing school in 2010 or May 2011. Throughout the school year, Expansion Counselors work on college campuses across the country recruiting high performing student leaders to become the foundation of Sigma Tau Gamma’s newest provisional chapters.
Qualified Expansion Counselor applicants are able to make friends easily among a crowded room, have strong oral and written skills, are charismatic and naturally outgoing, maintain a clean and cut appearance, are a self starter, and ambitious and authentic.
Applications for both the positions of Director of Chapter Development and Development Counselor are currently being accepted within the Chapter Development Department. Throughout the school year, the Chapter Development Department directly interacts with collegiate members, alumni volunteers and campus based professionals via telephone, Internet, and site visits.
Applicants for the position of Director of Chapter Development should have 2 to 3 years prior work experience. Qualified applicants should be familiar with basic accounting practices, have strong oral and written skills, are a self starter and are solution orientated. Occasional travel is required as necessary.
Applicants for the position of Development Counselor should be recent or upcoming graduates. Qualified applicants should have strong oral and written skills, are a self starter, and are able to work in both a one-on-one and group setting. Significant travel is required.
